Inside Week 17: Can Washington replicate 2015 magic with win-and-in over Eagles?

New York Times

You all don’t want to see me writing nice words drumming up hope for this upcoming game. His two interceptions and lost fumble against the Panthers eventually turned into one of the three touchdowns Carolina scored in Washington’s 20-13 loss to the visitors – and Ron Rivera’s former team. What they said Rivera on how he’d look at the team winning or losing this Sunday night versus the Eagles: “Why would I look at it as a blown opportunity? But I like what I saw from Heinicke late in last week’s game against the Panthers, and I actually trust him to efficiently run the team’s offense on Sunday, if he’s taking the snaps. There’s just always been that one big play per game the defense has allowed, and that’s where my hesitation stems from, even against a rookie like Hurts.
