Delia Ibarra, an attorney who lives in the Angeleno Heights section of the district, said she knows Cedillo is “not perfect.” But she’s concerned about calls to abolish the LAPD. If Cedillo isn’t replaced, Hernandez said, “many of my community members are not going to last another four years.”
