PM Modi at G20 Summit: Modi Greets Xi Jinping at Dinner In First Meet After Galwan Clash, No Bilateral Meeting Scheduled
News 18Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Chinese President Xi Jinping and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken at the G20 dinner hosted by Indonesian President Joko Widodo in Bali on Tuesday. The annual G20 Summit opened here with world leaders set to discuss over the next two days challenges triggered by the Covid-19 pandemic and more recently topped by Russia’s war in Ukraine. Modi said that he will meet with leaders of several other participating countries on the sidelines of the G20 summit and review the progress in India’s bilateral relations with them. “During the Bali summit, I will have extensive discussions with other G20 leaders on key issues of global concern, such as reviving global growth, food and energy security, environment, health and digital transformation,” Modi had said ahead of his departure from Delhi.
