In the Shandong Yellow River Administration Bureau in Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, lies an exhibition hall showcasing the province's arduous efforts in managing the Yellow River to turn it into a peaceful river that benefits local residents, local media reported. The exhibition hall presents the material, cultural, and intellectual wealth created by the people living along the Yellow River basin during the process of building water conservancy projects, preventing and controlling floods, and harnessing the Yellow River for public benefit. It shows the arduous efforts of the people in Shandong led by the Communist Party of China since 1946 to harness the river that used to cause flooding in the Yellow River basin. The exhibition hall is hailed as an important platform for Shandong to protect, inherit, and promote Yellow River culture, while also serving as a window for visitors to understand Yellow River culture.
