DCW rescues five girls being trafficked to West Bengal from New Delhi railway station

The Delhi Commission for Women has rescued five girls including two minors from the clutches of traffickers in the national capital. The DCW rescued the five girls, who aged between 15 and 20, from the New Delhi railway station. On the basis of information received from NGO Shakti Vahini, DCW formed a team and reached New Delhi Railway Station along with Childline and Delhi Police officials. On October 19, NGO Shakti Vahini had informed DCW that five girls were about to be trafficked to West Bengal from Delhi by Duranto Express. The rescued girls claimed that they were brought to Delhi from West Bengal by a woman named Jaina and a man named Laden on the pretext of providing jobs.
