Low COVID-19 caseload means restrictions ease early across South-East Queensland — here's how that will look

The best news for residents of the 11 local government areas across South-East Queensland still subject to limits on social contact is that mask rules are easing, though they'll still be needed outdoors at least until the end of next week. 11 LGAs facing restrictions: Brisbane City Moreton Bay Regional Council Gold Coast Ipswich Lockyer Valley Regional Council Logan City Noosa Shire Council Redland City Scenic Rim Regional Council Somerset Regional Council Sunshine Coast Regional Council Another day of zero community acquired cases recorded in the past 24 hours prompted Queensland authorities to bring forward the easing of restrictions from Sunday to Friday. After lockdowns ended across South-East Queensland, several restrictions were put in place as further protection aimed at getting on top of the Indooroopilly State High School Delta outbreak. "We are going to keep these restrictions in place for another week and we will review it at the end of the week it we continue to get those zero cases," Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said.
