New DCC office in Kozhikode to be opened in April

All India Congress Committee general secretary K.C. Venugopal, MP, will inaugurate the District Congress Committee’s new office, K. Karunakaran Memorial Building, in Kozhikode at 11 a.m. on April 5. DCC president K. Praveen Kumar told reporters on Saturday that the 24,000 sq. ft. building built at a cost of ₹7.5 crore has conference halls, a library, and boarding facilities, besides an auditorium named after the former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. “Busts of former Congress leaders, along with statues of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, adorn various parts of the building.
