She said: “We are taking every opportunity we can to say to the UK Government, the Scottish Government and all politicians that they have not got long now to save Grangemouth. Acting Scottish Energy Secretary Gillian Martin said: “The Scottish Government has already shown that we are on the side of Grangemouth and its workforce. “We also need the UK Government to expedite a decision on Acorn and the Scottish cluster of carbon capture projects, and to make urgent progress on allocating funding for the second round of hydrogen production projects, to help ensure a sustainable future for the wider industrial cluster.” The UK Government have been approached for comment.
