Reeves scores 23, Kentucky hands Texas A&M first SEC loss
Associated PressLEXINGTON, Ky. — Antonio Reeves hit five 3-pointers and scored a season-high 23 points as Kentucky beat Texas A&M 76-67 on Saturday, handing the Aggies their first SEC loss of the season. 5 Tennessee, saw Oscar Tshiebwe post 37 points and 24 rebounds in a win over Georgia and then ended Texas A&M’s seven-game winning streak. Reeves hit a 3-pointer with 8 1/2 minutes to play to break a tie and the Wildcats led the rest of the way though the outcome wasn’t certain until Fredrick hit a jumper with 48 seconds left then added two free throws for an eight-point lead. Marble and Coleman combined to go 7 for 7, scoring all the points in a 14-2 run that was aided by four Kentucky turnovers to take a six-point lead with four minutes left in the first half before Reeves and Toppin tied it with consecutive 3-pointers.
