Pushpa 2 stampede: Injured boy showing signs of recovery, say doctors

The condition of the eight-year-old boy, who was critically injured in a stampede during the Pushpa 2 premiere at Sandhya Theatre, RTC Crossroads here on December 4, is gradually improving, said doctors of KIMS Hospital, Secunderabad. In a statement released on Monday, doctors Chetan R. Mundada and Vishnu Tej Pudi reported that the child remains on ventilator support but now requires only minimal oxygen and pressure assistance. “His blood circulation is stable without the need for special medications, and he is tolerating tube feeding well,” the doctors stated. Despite the progress, they noted that the boy still experiences intermittent fever spikes and has not fully regained consciousness.
