No BJP MLA will join Congress: B S Yeddyurappa to K C Venugopal
Deccan ChronicleKalaburagi: State BJP President B.S. Yeddyurappa has taken exception to the claim by All-India Congress Committee General Secretary in-charge of Karnataka K.C. Venugopal that BJP legislators are waiting to join the Congress after the announcement of the Lok Sabha and Assembly bypoll results on May 23. Referring to the comments by Mr Venugopal that the Congress would come to power at the Centre, Mr Yeddyurappa during an interaction with the media dared him to declare how many Lok Sabha seats the Congress would win in the state. On the war of words between former CM Siddaramaiah and State JDS Chief A.H. Vishwanath, Mr Yeddyurappa said the situation has reached a point where Siddaramaiah has said he will raise the issue in the coalition's coordination committee meeting.
