Hechi holds traditional Chinese New Year Celebrations

This Chinese New Year holiday, Hechi will host a multitude of cultural and tourism activities featuring galas, light shows, and folk customs. On Feb 23, Nandan county will host an important festival of the Baiku Yao people – the Baiku Yao New Year street festival – at the Yaowangtianxia Scenic Area. The event will showcase a vibrant array of traditional ethnic sports competitions such as cockfighting, archery, and spinning tops, as well as exhibitions of intangible cultural heritage items such as the traditional bronze drum dance, offering a vivid display of Baiku Yao folk culture.
