
Guru Shiksha 2025 to be held on February 14 and 15
The HinduGuru Shiksha 2025, organised by the Guru Nanak Educational Society, is set to take place on February 14 and 15 at the Guru Nanak College and Guru Nanak School in Velachery. This annual event is a celebration of Sikh philosophy, focusing on the theme ‘Sangat-Pangat: Celebrating Oneness.’ Students from across the State are invited to participate in oratorical, essay writing, and quiz competitions, with categories for students in Classes 1 to 8, Classes 9 to 12, and for those in college. Guru Shiksha aims to instil the younger generation with the spiritual essence of Sikhism, fostering awareness, value building, and cultural exchange between the Sikh and Tamil communities. While the prelims are conducted on the school and college premises, the final round will be held in the Baba Deep Singh Auditorium at the Guru Nanak College.
