AP Govt Approves Rs. 11,467 Crore for Amaravati Capital Works

Vijayawada: The state government has issued orders for works that would be undertaken in the Capital Amaravati. The CM approved a fund of Rs 8821.44 crore for various projects in Amaravati and instructed the CRDA to complete the works according to schedules. Urban development minister P Narayana said, “We have called tenders for Rs 41,000 crore works between 2014-19 and completed works worth Rs 5,000 crore. Today, the CRDA has approved Rs 8821.44 crore for trunk roads and roads to be laid in Amaravati layouts. The minister recalled that the previous CRDA meeting had approved Rs 11,471 crore works in Amaravati.
