Radhika Apte is all set to step into Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s shoes as she plays the lead, Binodini in Anurag Basu’s version of Chokher Bali for the small screen. Explaining her absence Radhika says, “After SITC I took a two-year break and went to London to study contemporary dance at Trinity College. Those two years in London were the best.” Talking about moving to TV with Chokher Bali she says, “I haven’t been too keen on doing TV, but this show was an exception. There were many reasons for saying yes to this one like Anurag Basu directing the show and Binodini being an extremely layered character.
