Sourav Ganguly’s security heightened: What changes?
The West Bengal government has recently announced its decision to upgrade the security cover for former Indian cricket team captain and ex-BCCI president Sourav Ganguly to the esteemed Z category, according to a senior official. Here is what changes Under the enhanced security arrangement, Ganguly will be provided protection by a team of 8 to 10 police personnel, ensuring his safety and well-being, the official further explained. Previously, under the Y category security cover, Ganguly had three Special Branch policemen accompanying him, along with an equal number of law enforcement officers guarding his residence in Behala.
