Top priority to women’s welfare, says Eluru Collector Vetri Selvi. K

K. has said that priority is being given to women’s development and employment in the district, and 29,156 Self-Help Groups remceived loans to the tune of ₹1,828 crore The Collector, along with SP K. Pratap Shiva Kishore and Joint Collector P. Dhatri Reddy participated in the Republic Day celebrations on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Vetri Selvi said that more than 3 lakh houses were being constructed in the district at a cost of ₹1,868 crore under the NTR Gruha Nirmana Padhakam. The Collector appreciated Mr. Pratap Shiva Kishore and other police officers for taking up awareness programmes for women and girls on safety. Ms. Vetri Selvi appreciated the SP for launching ‘Abhay Rakshak Dalams’ for women in the district.
