Tamil Nadu: CM Stalin, Dy CM inaugurate three CMDA projects
Deccan ChronicleChennai: Chief Minister M K Stalin inaugurated three completed projects of the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority totaling Rs 58.70 crore from the Secretariat through video conference on Saturday. Constructed at a cost of Rs 42.70 crore, the five acre bus stand with a capacity for holding 1500 buses has a wide range of facilities and is located seven km from the Kalaignar Centenary bus stand for government buses in Kilambakkam. Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin also inaugurated 17 new completed plan works worth Rs 75.95 crore and laid the foundation for 36 plan works that would cost Rs 14.28 crore at Vellore district. Also the deputy chief minister distributed 345 sports equipment packages for 247 panchayats, besides handing over assistance given away under various government departments for 4844 beneficiaries totalling Rs 128.92 crore.
