Deferring PSC group 1 exams: HC not keen on interim order

HYDERABAD: The Telangana High Court on Thursday was not inclined to issue interim orders to postpone the TSPSC’s Group -1 preliminary exams, which are scheduled for June 11. Approximately, 36 TSPSC Group-1 aspirants filed the petition saying the time gap was insufficient between Group 1, 2, 3 and 4 examinations, which are being conducted for the first time since the formation of Telangana state. The petitioners said the two-month postponement would help those appearing for all group exams. He further submitted that although the preliminary exams were conducted earlier, they are being re-conducted as the earlier exams have been cancelled after the question paper leak.
