Anne Hathaway gives a glimpse of her expansive Grand High Witch make-up mood board

Showcasing the chilling cosmetic wizardry, in the background she gave a glimpse of the mood boards for many of The Grand High Witch's looks - including inspiration from a controversial Gigi Hadid shoot and a host of retro icons. 'Resting witch face': The Witches' leading lady, Anne Hathaway, added to excitement for the film's release as she took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes look from the make-up chair and gave a glimpse of the moodboard at the same time Anne, 37, posted the snap on Sunday showing her in her make-up trailer on the Surrey set of the movie one year ago. The Grand High Witch's arrival look sat at the top of the board and featured an image of Gigi Hadid's Vogue Italia cover from 2015, which sparked controversy. In the trailer, Anne's character is seen floating but her version of The Grand High Witch is not nearly as grotesque as Angelica Huston's eight-hour prosthetic job in Nicolas Roeg's 1990 version.
