Police call IT department to build a cyber security system in Vijayawada
Vijayawada: City police commissioner Gautam Sawang has given a call to the information technology industry to collaborate with the police department to build a cyber security system exclusively for the city police. The commissioner has extended an open invitation to the IT experts to join hands with the police to build an intelligent cyber security system. A team comprising an assistant commissioner of police, two inspectors, four SIs, six head constables and 24 constables will be discharging duties under the cyber police station, Mr Sawang said. “In this context, I urge the intellectuals from IT industry to come and collaborate with us, in order to design an ultimate cyber security system for Vijayawada city police,” the commissioner said, and added that already they have collaborated with ESF technologies, who have been training police personnel and building security systems.
