BMW iX electric SUV scores 5-star rating in European NCAP crash tests

India Today

The new BMW iX electric SUV was launched in India last week, but ahead of its debut here, the European NCAP safety tests scored a full 5-star rating for the German automaker’s first EV. The long list of features that make the BMW iX electric SUV so safe is front, side, and curtain airbags and a special diver-co-passenger airbag which is unique. The side collision warning on the BMW iX electric SUV is one of the most advanced systems on the market. The BMW iX electric SUV uses natural and recycled materials, making a bold statement towards sustainability, but this does not make the AWD electric car any slower.
