Rescue operation underway at site of cable car collision in Jharkhand's Deoghar | Visuals
India TodayAfter cable cars on a ropeway collided with each other at Trikut Pahar in Deoghar, Jharkhand on Sunday, the Indian Army, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Indian Air Force and National Disaster Response Force were engaged in a rescue operation on Monday. According to an official, ten tourists sustained serious injuries in the collision that occurred around 4.30 pm on Sunday, and one of them died late at night. The Trikut ropeway, according to the Jharkhand tourism department, is India's highest vertical ropeway with a maximum lens angle of 44 degrees.
