The one-year-old suffered devastating injuries and was pronounced dead soon after she arrived at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary Ivy Mae Ross was hit by a Land Rover in the car park of Plymouth Brethren Christian Church meeting hall in Balmedie, Aberdeenshire ‘We have explained this decision to the family.’ After the incident on May 15, floral tributes were left at the gates to the church for the tragic 17-month-old. In a statement released through the church, which teaches a strict interpretation of the Bible, her parents said: ‘Our beautiful daughter Ivy Mae passed away following the tragic accident after our regular church gathering.
