The company has revealed several unique trends today as it releases the Rewind 2018 report, highlighting how people in India are watching videos that are in local languages, and even in smaller cities and towns YouTube has become a popular app. In fact, the company claims that it is seeing 100 per cent growth rate in active daily users in India and that watching YouTube has become a daily habit for millions of Indians. While Bollywood videos, and music videos, remain popular with Indian YouTube users, many are now also watching the content specifically created for YouTube.
