Deccan ChronicleKurnool: To enhance basic facilities in every colony of Kurnool city, Industries and Commerce Minister T.G. On Sunday, Minister Bharath and Municipal Commissioner S. Ravindra Babu laid the foundation stone for projects worth Rs.2.42 crore across five local divisions. During the event, Minister Bharath stated that since the coalition government assumed office eight months ago, steps have been taken to resolve issues raised by corporators and residents. Highlighting the state's progress, he noted that Andhra Pradesh has attracted investments worth Rs.6.50 lakh crore under Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership, with significant investment directed towards Kurnool district. Municipal Commissioner S. Ravindra Babu acknowledged that many areas in Kurnool city suffer due to the absence of proper drainage canals, making desilting work challenging for sanitation workers.
