India TodayIndian shuttlers had far from impressive campaigns in the 2019 season on the BWF tour. PV Sindhu and Sai Praneeth shone at the World Championships with the former picking up her 1st ever gold medal and the latter winning a bronze in the men's singles category. Eventually, PV Sindhu was the only Indian shuttler who qualified for the BWF World Tour Finals 2019, scheduled to be held between December 11 and 16 in Guangzhou. PV Sindhu wouldn't have made it to the 8-woman singles event at BWF World Tour Finals had she not won the World Championships this year.
