Armed police boarded a TUI flight last night —just moments after it landed at Manchester Airport— and arrested a male passenger. Flight TOM2103 from Madeira had just touched down at Terminal 2 when armed police boarded the Boeing 737 shortly after 6pm on Monday. Moments later, rifle-wielding officers appeared and escorted a man off the plane, arresting him in connection with a warrant for an offence in Derbyshire. Greater Manchester Police officers boarded the plane when it landed at Manchester Airport Flight TOM2103 from Madeira had just touched down at Terminal 2 when armed police boarded the Boeing 737 shortly after 6pm on Monday Another passenger on the flight told Manchester Evening News: 'A British male was then seen to be arrested by three police officers from Greater Manchester Police, handcuffed and led away to awaiting police vehicles outside terminal two.'
