Pulling up a Police Officer for calling a man to the police station without having a formal complaint against him, a Delhi Court yesterday expressed its displeasure by saying that the officer had misled the Court by giving wrong information. "I fail to understand that how the police station has been converted into public call booth and the duty officer posted therein had acted at the behest of. At the outset, the Court noted thus: "At this, ASI Sunil who 15 present in the court has stated and admitted that on 20.09.2021, HC Rajesh Kumar was working as duty officer and the complainant had appeared in the PS Menrauli and stated that the applicant has not been picking her call and asked the io ajesh Kumar to call the applicant from police station and HC Rajesh Kumar had called the applicant by dialing the phone and he picked up."
