Jean died 'heartbroken' in June 2022, having not been able to visit Brian in his care home because of Covid restrictions In June 2020, Jean was rushed to hospital with pneumonia. In November 2021, Brian was moved to Madison Court care home in St. Helen's, Merseyside, where life for the devoted couple went from bad to worse.
