Revanth Reddy review and order a scientific re-survey of the detailed project report for the proposed 340-km Regional Ring Road and also consider the pleas of the affected farmers in the north part of the project. Addressing a press conference at the State office, Rajya Sabha MP and national OBC chairman K. Laxman said that despite the Centre offering to fund the ₹7,000-odd crore project including 50% of the land acquisition cost, the State government has been pussyfooting with farmers’ protests and focusing on the south part of the work. Mr. Laxman stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had shown a “big heart” in sanctioning the RRR rising above politics but the confused administration of Revanth Reddy government has been attacking the BJP and its leadership to divert people’s attention from the failed guarantees implementation.
