Coronavirus restrictions to ease but not all retailers will be throwing open the doors
ABCWhile the Queensland Government may have given non-essential shopping the green light, a number of retailers are approaching opening this weekend with caution. "We're really excited to get our stores back up and running, it'd be so lovely to see our customers coming into the store again," she said. "I think the announcement is positive, but I wouldn't expect to see shopping centres brimming with customers and all stores open from this Saturday," he said. "You may be more able to open that store pretty quickly with very short notice but you may be hesitant to do so, just seeing what others are doing around you," he said. "You wouldn't want to reopen your store and find that foot traffic hasn't increased into the centre and many of the businesses around you are closed."
