India TodaySamajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav has hit out at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over his ‘mafia’ remark, saying if the government is so concerned about law and order, why is it not releasing the list of mafioso in the state? Akhilesh Yadav, who was returning from Lucknow after attending an event with the Brahmin community and praying at a Lord Parshuram temple, said the law-and-order situation in UP has worsened under the BJP government. I will contest elections from wherever the party says.” Taking a dig at the BJP's claim of a double-engine government at the Centre and in Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav said "there is infighting within the double-engine government" and it is "enough to remove them".
