E. Ahamed Foundation to launch academic and intellectual initiatives
E. Ahamed Foundation has announced a series of academic and intellectual initiatives, including the construction of a headquarters in Kannur to honour the legacy of E. Ahamed, former Indian Union Muslim League national president and Minister of State for External Affairs. Speaking to the media, Abdul Karim Cheleri, general secretary of E. Ahamed Foundation, said the foundation plans to organise training programmes and courses, including civil service coaching, in collaboration with government and non-government institutions. A key initiative is the E. Ahamed Foundation APS Scholarship, which will support 100 students pursuing Cost and Management Accountant, CMA, and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants courses. Additionally, the foundation is exploring the establishment of a comprehensive academic reference library in Ahamed’s name.
