FaceApp with age filter goes viral but now there is warning against its use and call for FBI investigation
FaceApp is going on. -- FaceApp is an app that allows users to put age filter on any photo and show you how that person will look when he or she is old. -- There are also concerns that FaceApp not only uploads the photo on which you are applying age filter into its servers but also all other photos from your phone. -- Privacy International, an organisation that looks at apps and websites for privacy risks and violations, says that like app apps that use photos of users, FaceApp too can misuse its user data. -- Another privacy risk is that the users photos can be utilised by apps like FaceApp to teach its smart algorithms how people's faces change with age and then develop solutions that use face recognition for surveillance and user monitoring.
