VANCOUVER, British Columbia — Meghan Agosta, who won three gold medals representing Canada at the Olympics, announced Friday she is retiring from hockey. Agosta, 37, played for more than a decade and a half, also winning two International Ice Hockey Federation world championship gold medals and one Olympic silver. “Meghan was an invaluable asset to Team Canada on the international stage,” Hockey Canada senior manager of scouting and player development Cherie Piper said. “She used her dynamic skillset to leave an indelible mark on the hockey world, and we wish her continued success in her career with the Vancouver Police Department.” ___ AP hockey: https://apnews.com/hub/hockey
