KIA) adds new flights to Ho Chi Minh City and increases connectivity to Japan

The Kempegowda International Airport which was recently designated as a ‘large airport’ will be adding more flights and new routes from the month of March. Ho Chi Minh City has become KIA’s latest international destination as Vietjet announced flight operations from Bengaluru. The airline has announced that flights connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Bengaluru will commence on March 19, with three return flights per week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Additionally, people and tourists from India will have opportunities to visit Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’s most vibrant city, famous for its street food, and explore destinations across the Asia-Pacific with Vietjet’s flight network,” the airline said. JAL currently operates five flights per week on this route making KIA the the only airport in South India with direct connection to Japan.
