James Anderson was sitting on 597 Test wickets and was a wicket away from his 29th five-wicket haul when Broad had dropped a dolly at mid-on. Like Kohli, Broad had recovered soon to grab the dropped ball and fire it directly on the stumps to dismiss Mohammad Abbas, who was trying to capitalise on an opportunity to steal a single and bring his then-captain Azhar Ali on the non-striker's end.
