NEET-UG revised list: Topper count drops to 17; Mridul Anand secures rank 1
The National Testing Agency has released the NEET Re-Revised Result 2024 on July 26, 2024. TOPPER COUNT SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED The revised merit list for NEET-UG 2024 has decreased the number of toppers from 61 to 17, following the National Testing Agency's recalculation of results as mandated by the Supreme Court. DETAILED DISTRIBUTION OF SCORES In the updated list, 17 candidates achieved a perfect score of 720/720, while six scored 716, and the remaining candidates obtained 715 marks. RECORD REGISTRATIONS FOR NEET-UG 2024 The NEET-UG 2024 exam saw a record-high registration with over 24 lakh students, the largest number ever recorded. Initially, 67 candidates had achieved a perfect score, but this number dropped to 61 after a re-test for 1,563 candidates who experienced administrative issues, such as incorrect question papers.
