If you've signed up to multiple streaming services in lockdown, you might be thinking it's time for a cull. "One year when I was doing an audit, I got rid of Netflix, downgraded our internet plan, and switched to a new phone plan," financial educator and author Lacey Filipich says. "Do think about the total cost, and consider that you'll probably have for at least a year," Ms Filipich says. Here's what she wishes she knew about money earlier Photo shows Tasha Torzsa smiles while wearing a t-shirt with the words "Be Kind". "If you don't go through the time that it takes to cancel that cancellation, you are literally throwing that money away," Ms Filipich says.
