SHANGHAI - China's Zhang Zhizhen crashed out of the ATP Shanghai Masters after losing a fierce battle against Hubert Hurkacz of Poland 7-6, 4-6, 7-6 in the round of 16 here on Tuesday. Hurkacz next faces Hungarian Fabian Marozsan, who cruised with a 7-6, 3-6, 6-4 victory over the eighth seed Casper Ruud. Shelton celebrated his 21-year-old birthday by rallying past the sixth seed Jannik Sinner of Italy 2-6, 6-3, 7-6 to make his first quarterfinal appearance at a Masters 1000 event.
