Bandi insists on Cong. 6G by Jan. 26
Deccan ChronicleHyderabad: Union minister of state for home affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, criticised the Congress for diverting public attention from its unmet promises and claimed that the BRS has outperformed them. Speaking at a press meet at the BJP state office on Sunday, Bandi Sanjay alleged that despite being in power for a year, the Congress has failed to implement the six guarantees it promised. Sanjay specifically targeted the "Rythu Bharosa" scheme, stating that Rs 18,000 per acre is still pending for 70 lakh farmers, totalling Rs 19,600 crore. With local body elections approaching, Bandi accused the Congress of leveraging schemes like Rythu Bharosa and ration cards for political gain, drawing parallels to unfulfilled promises made by BRS government, such as double-bedroom houses and job creation.
