The farewell function for Justice Vineet Saran was organised by the Supreme Court Bar Association on Tuesday in the Auditorium of Supreme Court's New Additional Building. After the SCBA had written to the CJI regarding the conditions imposed on Bar members with regard to use of the auditorium, Judges Committee consisting of five Supreme Court Judges had on Sunday, i.e., 08.05.2022 visited the auditorium along with the EC Members and accepted their requests regarding the seating capacity in the auditorium and parking so that the farewell function can be held in the auditorium.
