Lok Sabha elections 2019: AAP, JJP resume talks for pre-poll alliance in Haryana
Hindustan TimesA day after Aam Aadmi Party national convener and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal sought a three-way alliance in Haryana with Congress and Jannayak Janta Party, the AAP’s Haryana spokesperson, Sudhir Yadav, said that alliance talks between AAP and JJP had resumed and were underway. While the JJP has ruled out any alliance with the Congress, JJP national general secretary KC Bangar said talks between his party and AAP are underway and the party’s national executive council would take a final call on the same. Since then, AAP has been eyeing a potential alliance with JJP for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and the assembly elections scheduled later this year. In February, however, talks between the two parties were called off after negotiations over seat-sharing concerns remained inconclusive, AAP Haryana convenor Naveen Jaihind had said.
