Cowboys Draft Digest: Volume 11 – tackles & tight ends

Each week during the buildup to the NFL Draft, we will take a look at around five prospects at a given position. Today, I would like to feature the two major voids in my offensive reports – tackles and tight ends. Hayden Hurst — South Carolina — 6’4 – 250 – 4.67 Positives: Hurst is a wide receiver in a tight end’s body. Mike Gesicki — Penn State— 6’5 – 247 – 4.54 Positives: Gesicki might be the best red-zone threat in the class, as an elite athlete with great measurables along with a pretty solid handle for routes and the ability to use his body as a real weapon to ward off defenders and create space for himself.
