Christopher Martin Bulbrook granted bail after being charged with more than 100 child sex offences

A man facing more than 100 child sex offences dating back decades has been granted bail. The police prosecutor told the court Mr Bulbrook was in a "position of trust and authority" when he allegedly sexually assaulted several girls, one as young as eight-years-old. Court told alleged victims 'hesitant to come forward out of fear' Police launched the investigation in October 2023 into alleged offences that occurred between 1980 and 1991 at various locations across the Wide Bay Burnett and Capricornia regions, involving multiple children. His defence lawyer also stated that Mr Bulbrook had not re-offended while on bail for other similar charges he's facing in the Rockhampton and Brisbane Magistrates court.
