DDCA President Rohan Jaitley shares his vision for the future of Delhi cricket
India TodayRohan Jaitley has been re-elected as the President of the Delhi and District Cricket Association for another term, as he commits to elevating Delhi cricket to new heights. “We’re also enhancing our clubs to maximise training opportunities, helping young cricketers build on their potential from an early age.” Under Jaitley’s leadership, Delhi cricket has already witnessed a notable growth. The Arun Jaitley Stadium successfully hosted five ODI World Cup matches, while the launch of the Delhi Premier League - a T20 tournament, provided significant competitive opportunities for both men’s and women’s cricket. “Our goal is to ensure that when players are called to represent the state, they are fully prepared.” Jaitley’s leadership team swept all 12 positions in the elections, including five office bearers and seven directors. With a strong vision and clear strategy, Jaitley’s leadership aims to develop a sustainable cricketing ecosystem that nurtures talent, builds infrastructure, and cements Delhi’s place as a powerhouse in Indian cricket.
