A new business startup base for young people from Guangdong province and the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macao kicked off in the Nansha district of Guangzhou on Thursday. The seven earlier bases had attracted 240 projects from young people in Hong Kong and Macao, said Dong Ke, head of the Nansha district government. To support Hong Kong and Macao youths in employment, various sectors of Nansha have offered 1,800 internships in the past five years, with 11 Hong Kong and Macao youths securing jobs in the district.
