Delhi HC Directs DU To Set Timelines To Provide Degree Certificates And Marksheets To Both Previous And Current Students [Read Order]
Delhi High Court has directed the Delhi University to set timelines to provide paper-based degree certificates and marksheets to both the students who will be graduating this year and those who had graduated in previous years. The order has come in a bunch of writ petitions moved by students who have not received their degree certificates from the Delhi University despite completing their graduation 2-3 years ago. In the previous order, the court had directed the University to set up a mechanism to streamline the process of providing digital degree certificates to the students. The court further said: 'The online digital degree certificates, which are now been issued are monolingual i.e., only in English, unlike the previous degree certificates which were bilingual i.e., both in English and Hindi.
