It's the band's eighth studio album, and it's coming out 26 years after they released their first album. The three bandmates who reunited before and during the pandemic — Jón Þór Birgisson on vocals and cello bowed guitar along with multi-instrumentalist Kjartan Sveinsson and bassist Georg Hólm — teamed up with conductor Robert Ames and the London Contemporary Orchestra to create a magnificent album.
